Are you a dynamic and passionate Learning & Development Specialist with the ability to energize teams and facilitate impactful learning experiences? We are looking for someone who not only brings expertise in training and development but also radiates enthusiasm and inspiration in their programs.

In this role, as part of the Global Talent and Change Management Center of Excellence, you will use your proven skills to develop and deliver Husky’s leadership development programs ensuring our teams can meet the needs of today, but more importantly, those of the future. While this role is based on-site at our head office in Bolton, Ontario, the programs it touches will have a global reach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute and facilitate the rebuilding our Leadership Development Program: 
    • Design engaging training programs tailored to various learning styles:
      • Partner with internal stakeholders, evaluate organizational needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions through research and a consultative process
      • This includes design and curriculum plan documents, facilitator and participant deliverables, e-Learning modules, etc.
  • Deliver training, either in-person or online, using appropriate techniques to ensure an engaging and rewarding experience
  • Assess effectiveness of the sessions and work through sustainment of such learning through future activities
  • Incorporate current industry trends and best practices in learning and development to ensure engaging and relevant learning experiences

As the ideal candidate, you bring the following to Husky:

  • High energy & enthusiasm demonstrated by bringing a vibrant and engaging presence to training programs
  • Post-secondary education with specialization in adult education, human resources, organizational development, or relevant experience
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience designing, developing, and facilitating learner-centric solutions:
    • Including situational, transformational and leadership programs
    • Experience with both online as well as in person facilitation
    • Familiar with the principles of ADDIE methodology and instructional design
    • Strong technical aptitude including experience with rapid authoring tools such as Articulate 360
  • Experience in learning management system administration, including course deployment, content management, user support and reporting is preferred
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organization is ideal
