Job Description

 

As the key point of contact for Sales and Customers, as solutioning engineer, you will support the collection of the customer complex needs and translate those needs to an optimized financial and technical solution reflecting our value proposition. You will be working with the Solutioning team and our Sales force in building relationships with the customer and support converting opportunities to orders. You will work with the organization to continuously enhance our quality and speed to market to grow Husky footprint. Your expertise will be used from the moment the opportunity is brought up until project acceptance by the customer, helping the Organization in fulfilling customer needs and assuring customer satisfaction.

 

The position will be in our European headquarters in Dudelange / Luxembourg. You will report to the PET Sales Support Manager for Beverage Packaging located in Dudelange.

 

 Responsibilities

  • Manage communication flow between Sales, Customers and the Organization to define the best in class Solution (scope, price & timing)
  • Manage communication / awareness within the Sales Support Team
  • Capturing the customer needs and translate it to best in class Technical/Commercial proposal
  • Prepare, issue, coordinate and evaluate the impact of changes, address potential concerns, and ensure that original production schedule deadlines are met. If this is not possible, communicate the impact to the Sales team.
  • As a project lead you need to assure the following are executed properly:
  • Make sure the technical/commercial proposals meet customer/sales expectation in timely manner.
  • Capturing all technical details and agreements between customer & sales once the order placed by customer.
  • Ensuring technical and project milestone data are properly documented and communicated to Sales & Customers.
  • Following up on open issues, and maintaining and communicating regularly, up-to-date knowledge of project status.
  • Up to 20% travel would be required.

 

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience Customer-focus thinking and mindset.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, facilitation and conflict management skills, or ability to develop these skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members & Internal business units.
  • Demonstrated project ownership skills.
  • Demonstrate Business acumen.
  • Self-starter, patient, quick learner.
  • Capacity to follow guidelines, think methodically / analytically, exercise judgment in decision making.
  • Strong computer skills such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI.
  • Mechanical or Application knowledge of plastic injection molding technology.
  • Fluent in English. Any other languages will be an asset.
