Job Description

In this role, you will support Aftermarket Services in designing, developing, documenting and implementing mechanical and fluid power solutions for injection molding machines/systems. Also includes, investigating engineering non conformances to provide timely resolution to the field technicians. The expectation is to deliver high quality, high performance, reliable and cost effective designs on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and modification of mechanical/hydraulic systems of injection molding machines
  • Design and modification of hydraulic schematics
  • Create bills of materials for purchasing and production control
  • Prepare engineering and field installation documentation
  • Support the field team with timely resolution to engineering non conformances by providing an engineering rework solution
  • Participate in technical reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Interact with suppliers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fluid Engineering
  • 3+ years of design execution experience in a related industry preferred
  • Advanced user in modeling and detailing techniques. NX (Unigraphics) version 11 and above preferred
  • Travel maybe required as needed by the business
  • Customer-focused mindset. Team player
  • Ability to multi task and work on multiple projects at a time
  • Strong project, organization and time management skills
  • Illustrates attention to detail when completing tasks and embraces changing priorities
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access), macros and automatization (VBA).
  • Fluency in English
