In order to maintain our growth rate and increase our market strength, we are looking for a motivated self-starter with a passion for design to join our engineering team in Milton:

Role:  Responsible for the design of hot runner systems from high level concept & 3D modeling to detailing of prints and bill of materials.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engineer custom hot runner systems from standard and custom componentry, based on provided specifications and following Husky design and detail practices.
  • Consistently deliver best in class engineering quality to support on-time and profitable delivery to the customer
  • Effectively manage time to produce designs within allotted time and on-time to production schedule
  • Communicate project details and status with global Project Engineers.
  • Work with Project Engineers, Programming, and Manufacturing to support customer requests and resolve production issues Lead design and risk review meetings.
  • Develop, optimize and present new ideas concerning design tools and processes to other members of the design team.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering preferred, or A.S. with at least two years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 3D CAD literate (NX experience preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work
  • Fast learner, and able to listen and accept constructive feedback.
  • Able to communicate well with others and convey ideas, both orally and written.
  • Able to organize a sequence of tasks on a project to meet commitment dates.
  • Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluids and stress analysis (mechanical skills).
