Reporting to the Enterprise Platform Manager, the M365 Analyst will provide expertise for the Microsoft 365 platform. This includes working with end users to manage training, incidences, and provide guidance as well as working with the internal IT teams to manage M365, migrate from on-prem SharePoint, and deploy/maintain new M365 functionality as it is released.
Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability

Administration of the following tools: Teams, SharePoint, Yammer, and other M365 tools

Work alongside the IT team to develop best practices and governance of M365

Work with end users
-
Ensure business teams are leveraging Teams/SharePoint/Yammer for team collaboration and communication effectively.

Educate users on best practices and policies which included one-on-one interactions and formal training sessions as needed.

Provide support as needed which includes managing incidences, troubleshooting, guiding users, interfacing with Microsoft support channels, etc.

Identify and manage creation of M365 customizations

Document user stories/use cases with business stakeholders

Liaise with internal software development team

Liaise/manage external M365 contractors when needed

Test or manage testing of developed customizations

Migration from on-prem to online
-
Assist with migration of SharePoint on-prem to SharePoint Online.

Work with business stakeholders to ensure their SharePoint sites migrate and address reported issues.

Work with internal infrastructure/system analysts to manage performance of all O365 applications.
Criticial Capabilities
-
Advanced knowledge of M365
-
3-5 years of experience managing SharePoint 2010/2013 and SharePoint Online, preferably in a medium to large organization. (Required)

1 year of experience with managing Microsoft Teams (Required)
-
Experience with migrating SharePoint on-prem to online (Preferred)
-
Experience with authoring and delivering training
-
Experience with other Microsoft technologies an asset - Dynamics 365 (CRM), Power Platform/Apps

Strong troubleshooting skills
-
Excellent communication skills - written and oral
-
Ability to work with minimal supervision
-
Experience with Agile and Project Management delivery methodologies.

Fluent in English, additional language skills considered an asset.
Requirements

Education : Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline (Engineering or IT related)

Experience : 3-5 years of experience managing SharePoint 2010/2013 and SharePoint Online, preferably in a medium to large organization.
