Job Description
In this role you will process customers quotes/orders for Husky equipment parts in the ERP system, from transaction entry through follow-up, until delivery and customer satisfaction. Additionally you will engage customers with value propositions to source additional sales opportunities during both inbound and outbound customer contact (upsell parts, parts packages, parts accessories and services).
Responsibilities
Related activities include assisting customer, via emails/phones, with:
- Parts number and/or alternate parts identification
- Parts availability clearing
- Parts lead-time confirmation
- Parts shipment coordination and shipping details communication
- Web Parts portal utilization
Frequent collaborations with:
- Inventory/Warehouse, to ensure parts release and shipment
- Purchasing/Global Supply Chain, to clarify parts prices and lead time
- Engineering, to identify most appropriate parts to customers’ requirements
- Call Center, to confirm part numbers
- Finance, to validate payment terms, to understand financial blocking reasons, and to monitor Orders covered by Letter of Credit or Cash against documents
- Regional Service, to inform on parts delivery dates
- HUSKY Business Advisors to align on Quotes follow-ups and discounts, and to execute customer hunting strategy
- Regional Sales/Service to clear customer needs, to identify additional sales opportunities, and to execute customer hunting strategy
- Parts Product Managers to understand new sales/marketing initiatives launched and remain informed about latest marketing communications to customers
Qualifications
- College Diploma or University Degree preferred, or over 2 years of experience in Quote-to-Order Processing and Sales
- Customer empathy as well as excellent verbal and written communication
- Inside-sales skills (opportunities sourcing, value proposition communication, negotiation, …)
- Technical product knowledge (Mechanical/Electrical/Software) an asset
- Strong attention to details
- Sense of priorities and good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others when required
- Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel
- Fluent in English, German and Russian
